HELLO EVERYONE!
I first traveled to Costa Rica in 2011 on my first solo international trip. During that adventure, the seed was planted in my heart to someday lead yoga retreats. It was also the first time I ever stood up on a surfboard...the moment I truly fell in love with the ocean.
For many years I knew Costa Rica would eventually become one of my retreat destinations. But it wasn’t until I experienced the magic of the Osa Peninsula in 2023 that I knew exactly where I was meant to bring a group.
Simply put, this is one of the most beautiful place I have ever visited!!!
The Osa Peninsula is considered one of the most biologically diverse places on Earth...a remote, wild, and breathtaking nature sanctuary home to countless rare animals, vibrant bird species, and lush rainforest ecosystems.
Our retreat property sits on eight acres of jungle hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean, just steps from the stunning white sands of Backwash Beach.
The estate rises gradually from the ocean through tropical gardens and rainforest, creating a peaceful and secluded environment that feels both luxurious and deeply connected to nature.
The moment you walk through the jungle path and arrive at the beach,
the beauty of this place will quite literally take your breath away.

THE RETREAT EXPERIENCE
“Pura Vida”
The pure and simple life.
My intention for this retreat is to create a sweet, nourishing space to slow down, reconnect, and restore.
Our days will begin with the rise of the sun, gathering together for Himalayan meditation followed by a Himalayan Kundalini yoga journey.
Throughout the week we will weave together:
• movement
• meditation
• breathwork
• mantra
• wisdom talks
• ocean time
• deep rest
This retreat is intentionally small and intimate,
allowing for meaningful connection while also providing plenty of personal space to unwind and integrate.

THE PROPERTY
Spanning roughly 10,000 square feet, the estate consists of a beautiful communal space known as the Casa Grande, which includes:
• kitchen and dining area
• bar and lounge space
• living room
• guest bath
• yoga deck
• the master suite
• and the villa’s stunning infinity pool
The centerpiece of the property is a large infinity pool overlooking Backwash Bay, with shallow areas perfect for relaxing as well as a deep end measuring 15 feet.
Surrounding the Casa Grande are three detached private bungalows, each featuring:
• two queen beds
• private ensuite bathroom
• outdoor shower
• ceiling fans
• and a cozy patio space
The entire property blends beautifully into the surrounding jungle landscape while offering high-end comfort and privacy.
⸻
A Small and Intimate Retreat
To maintain the peaceful nature of this experience, space is intentionally limited.
Once the retreat fills, additional guests will be placed on a waiting list.
If Costa Rica has been calling your name, I invite you to place your deposit to reserve your space.

SEE WHAT PAST RETREAT GUESTS HAVE TO SAY

Rosanne

I attended my first ever yoga retreat in Bali, Indonesia in August of 2019. It was a marvelous retreat with life changing outcomes.
With the wisdom and guidance of Angie Hall, my meditation practice makes more sense and has more meaning to me than it ever has. The shift started with learning techniques to help increase and improve my self love. The changes that I witnessed and felt in just a few days were substantial. Then add the backdrop of Bali, which was one of my “to do” list destinations, which elevated the experience to beyond wonderful.
Thank you so much for a beautiful experience.

I have to say the best part of the entire journey was the meditation and yoga practices in the mornings. Through this I learned more about myself and my own spiritual path, how to meditate in a way that brings me peace and not frustration, and I gained a deeper understanding about Sattva yoga. Angie makes what can be a confusing and obscure practice understandable and sustainable in daily life. This was not a "woo-woo sit around and navel gaze" experience, that would never work for me. This was real and deep and powerful. I feel deeply connected to everyone from the trip and they will be in my hearts forever. I am now meditating regularly in addition to my yoga practice. If I allow myself to become still, I can still feel the Bali breeze on my skin, hear the birds, smell the sweet air and feel the love of my new friends.

Angie’s retreats are life-changing, but they are also very intense. Do not sign up expecting a low-key vacation of pampering self-care. Though the locations are idyllic, and there are many memorable moments of humor, fun, and relaxation, that’s definitely not end game. You will work. You will move way beyond your comfort zone. And you will rediscover who you are in the process. It’s not easy. But it’s worth it. And if you show up and do the work, you will leave far better than you came, feeling lighter, more aware, and more rooted in your truth than you ever thought possible.
