Leh Ladakh India

HELLO EVERYONE!

If you're reading this that probably means you're feeling the subtle whisper of your heart calling you to travel to India.

This will be my 13th adventure to the healing lands of the Himalayas!!!

All my travels and studies in India have completely changed my life, and it's become my souls passion to share the teachings and the adventures with as many people as I can.

This year we begin our adventure in Leh Ladakh, an incredibly beautiful village nestled in the high Himalayas of India between Tibet to the east, Kashmir to the west and Himachal Pradesh to the south.

In 2013, I traveled to India for the first time as a volunteer for a Cardiology Medical Mission.  We were hosted by the Dalai Lama to come to Leh Ladakh and do cardiovascular screening for the Tibetan Monks and Tibetan refugees living at high altitude.  This will be my fourth retreat to India, but the first time I'm taking a group to the high Himalayas, and I'm beyond excited to share this incredible remote part of the world with you!

We will be hosted by my good friend and local Monk, Lama Chogyl.  Lama Chogyl hosted our Medical Group in 2013, and again in 2017.  He is highly revered in the region and works very closely with the Dalai Lama.  Lama Chogyl and his local guides will show us around this quaint Himalayan village where the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan people reside.

The retreat will begin with an opening ceremony upon our arrival in Leh Ladakh, where we will spend 7 nights.  We will explore Leh Palace at sunset and Shanti Stupa for Sunrise.  We will overnight in Kargil while visiting Magnetic Hill & Zanskar river.  We will drive the worlds highest motorable road, Kardung-La and make our way to Nubra Valley in time to ride camels across the dunes at Sunset.  We will visit the worlds highest salt water lake and witness the majestic turquoise waters at Pangong Lake.

We then make our way to Sri Lanka where we will take our adventure to the beach and experience the magic and wonder of this beautiful country.

This years Pilgrimage will be completely different from my past retreats to India!!!

It will be an amazing life-changing adventure that will completely alter your experience of life.  It's truly an honor for me to share my love for the Holy lands of India.

This year I'm capping the number of retreat guests to offer a more intimate experience, so this will sell out fast.

I attended my first ever yoga retreat in Bali, Indonesia in August of 2019. It was a marvelous retreat with life changing outcomes.

With the wisdom and guidance of Angie Hall, my meditation practice makes more sense and has more meaning to me than it ever has. The shift started with learning techniques to help increase and improve my self love. The changes that I witnessed and felt in just a few days were substantial. Then add the backdrop of Bali, which was one of my “to do” list destinations,  which elevated the experience to beyond wonderful.

Thank you so much for a beautiful experience.

I have to say the best part of the entire journey was the meditation and yoga practices in the mornings.  Through this I learned more about myself and my own spiritual path, how to meditate in a way that brings me peace and not frustration, and I gained a deeper understanding about Sattva yoga.  Angie makes what can be a confusing and obscure practice understandable and sustainable in daily life. This was not a "woo-woo sit around and navel gaze" experience, that would never work for me. This was real and deep and powerful.  I feel deeply connected to everyone from the trip and they will be in my hearts forever.  I am now meditating regularly in addition to my yoga practice.  If I allow myself to become still, I can still feel the Bali breeze on my skin, hear the birds, smell the sweet air and feel the love of my new friends.

Angie’s retreats are life-changing, but they are also very intense. Do not sign up expecting a low-key vacation of pampering self-care. Though the locations are idyllic, and there are many memorable moments of humor, fun, and relaxation, that’s definitely not end game. You will work. You will move way beyond your comfort zone. And you will rediscover who you are in the process. It’s not easy. But it’s worth it. And if you show up and do the work, you will leave far better than you came, feeling lighter, more aware, and more rooted in your truth than you ever thought possible.
